Role Summary
Baxter is hiring an Intern for its engineering and technology operations in Bengaluru. In this entry-level role, you will participate in designing, building, testing, configuring, and supporting applications based on business requirements. You will apply core computer science fundamentals to develop automation solutions, integrate new technologies into existing systems, and take ownership of technical deliverables under the guidance of senior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Development: Design, code, test, assemble, and configure software applications using Java or C/C++ based on functional specifications.
- Automation & Feature Integration: Participate in developing automated workflows and integrating new functionality into core platform solutions.
- Task Ownership: Take ownership of discrete programming tasks, executing them with minimal supervision while seeking guidance when appropriate.
- Agile Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering team members to deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Current student or recent graduate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 0 to 1 year of hands-on experience or coursework in software programming and systems design.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Strong expertise in systems programming using Java or C/C++, solid knowledge of object-oriented design (OOD), Operating Systems, Algorithms, Data Structures, and complexity analysis.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Understanding of automation tools, software design patterns, and version control systems.
- Core Soft Skills: Strong task ownership, collaborative mindset, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn emerging technologies.
