Role Summary
Bank of America is hiring a Team Member for its Global Business Services (BA Continuum India) organization in Gurugram. Working within the Reference Data Services (RDS) and GDFX Static Data team during US (AMRS) shift hours (7:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST), you will set up and maintain critical client reference data, Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs), bank details, and sub-trading accounts for Global Markets counterparties across Equities, Foreign Exchange, and Derivatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Static Data & SSI Processing: Review, set up, and update client Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs), payment details, and trading identifiers within back-office systems within agreed Turn Around Time (TAT).
- Compliance & Process Verification: Perform primary and secondary self-reviews of data inputs to ensure alignment with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and organizational risk guidelines.
- Stakeholder & LOB Engagement: Handle daily processing requests, manage escalation queries independently with Line of Business (LOB) partners, and interact directly with global clients via email and calls.
- Operational Excellence & Governance: Contribute to process improvement initiatives, maintain monthly risk matrices and dashboards, and adhere to Business Continuity Management procedures.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) - Finance, or a tertiary degree in Business/Commerce/Finance.
- Experience: 0 to 1 Year of experience in capital markets or financial operations (Freshers welcomed).
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Understanding of Global Capital Markets, FX, Cash & Derivatives settlement workflows, and Reference Data / Static Data operations.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Hands-on experience with SSI databases, back-office settlement platforms, trade reconciliation, and KYC/AML compliance frameworks.
- Shift & Working Hours: AMRS Shift (Mon–Fri, 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST).
- Core Soft Skills: Confident spoken and written English communication, organizational skills under high volume/tight deadlines, and team collaboration.
