AI Test Engineer / Performance Test Engineer

Role Summary

Ascendion is hiring an AI Test Engineer / Performance Test Engineer in Bangalore, Karnataka. In this specialized QA role, you will evaluate AI model metrics (answer relevancy, task completion, correctness, and tool usage), execute Android platform performance testing (memory, battery, and compute utilization), and build automated test suites using Python, PyWinAuto, Selenium, and Playwright across the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Key Responsibilities

• AI & LLM Evaluation: Assess AI accuracy, answer relevancy, task completion, tool correctness, and AI safety and security standards.
• Android Platform & Performance Testing: Perform end-to-end Android application testing focusing on memory usage, execution speed, battery consumption, and device behavior.
• Test Automation & Frameworks: Develop and execute automated test suites using Python, PyWinAuto, Selenium, and Playwright.
• Test Strategy & Mentorship: Review HLD/PRD requirements, translate them into comprehensive test strategies and plans, and mentor junior QA engineers.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: 3–8 years of hands-on experience in Android application testing, AI model evaluation, and test automation.
• Mandatory Technical Stack: Python, Android OS testing, PyWinAuto, Selenium, Playwright, STLC, and performance profiling (memory/battery).
• Preferred Technical Exposure: AI safety testing methodologies and Android developer tools (ADB, Profiler).
