Apprentice - Enterprise Technology Services

Role Summary

American Express is hiring an Apprentice - Enterprise Technology Services for a 12-month paid apprenticeship program across its Bengaluru, Gurugram, and Chennai technology centers. In this role, you will work as a core member of an Agile team developing enterprise infrastructure, customer-facing applications (web, iOS, Android), APIs, and automation tools using Java, JavaScript, .NET, or Python.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Write high-quality code in languages such as Java, JavaScript, .NET, or Python to build customer-facing web and mobile solutions.
• Agile Team Collaboration: Work closely within Agile development sprints on API specifications, code reviews, unit testing, and proof-of-concept projects.
• Multi-Channel Systems: Assist in designing and implementing web-enabled systems, data collection tools, and API microservices.
• Continuous Learning & Networking: Engage in executive mentoring, structured learning, and professional development throughout the 12-month program.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Graduation completed under a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Experience: 0 to 1 year (Freshers / Recent Graduates eligible).
• Mandatory Technical Stack: Core programming foundational skills in Java, JavaScript, .NET, or Python, with basic understanding of web development and software engineering concepts.
• Core Competencies: Passion for technology, strong analytical problem-solving, data-driven mindset, curiosity, and effective team collaboration.
