Role Summary
American Express is hiring a Senior Associate - CyberOps & Assurance for its IAM Servicing team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end identity and access lifecycle management, executing access review controls, provisioning user access across enterprise platforms, writing SQL queries for database reporting, and maintaining audit compliance across global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Access Governance & Reviews: Conduct access review operations, remediate non-compliant permissions, enforce Segregation of Duties (SoD), and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Identity & Lifecycle Operations: Manage user profiles, passwords, and permissions for person and non-person accounts across Active Directory, Mainframes (RACF), Windows, Unix/Linux, and relational databases.
- Data Analysis & SQL Reporting: Query relational database schemas to produce ad-hoc and routine compliance reports, analyze user access patterns, and drive data-backed decision-making.
- Incident Management & Optimization: Handle user access escalations using ServiceNow, provide on-call support for critical IAM issues, and optimize operations using scripting, RPA, or AI tools.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), access review operations, and user provisioning (BFSI sector experience preferred).
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Deep expertise in IAM policies, relational databases & SQL querying, SailPoint IIQ (or similar LCM tools), Active Directory, RACF, and ServiceNow.
- Preferred Exposure: Experience with Shell scripting (PowerShell/Bash), RPA platforms (UIPath/Blue Prism), and generative AI-assisted workflows.
- Operational Requirements: Ability to work flexible shift schedules and participate in weekend on-call coverage as needed.
