Role Summary
Amazon Dev Center India is hiring an Investigation Associate, PQ Ops for its Transaction Risk Management team. In this role, you will investigate seller transactions, authenticate complex customer details, and eliminate online e-commerce risk. Operating with high accuracy and minimal supervision, you will follow standard operating procedures (SOP), document case annotations, communicate with stakeholders via phone/email, and uphold productivity and quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Research & Risk Analysis: Research and evaluate facts surrounding seller transactions to identify and mitigate e-commerce risk.
- Independent Decision-Making: Take appropriate, SLA-compliant operational actions on investigated cases using established tools and procedures.
- Documentation & Annotation: Maintain detailed and structured annotations documenting every step of the investigation process.
- Stakeholder Communication: Interact with internal risk analysts, risk engineers, and external customers via phone and email to resolve complex cases.
- Issue Escalation & Metrics: Systematically escalate variance in data to relevant owners while tracking individual performance metrics to meet quality standards.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above in a quantitative or technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Statistics.
- Experience: Open to Freshers (0 years) or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience in risk operations or data analysis.
- Preferred Technical Tool: Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate datasets and transform raw data into actionable insights.
- Core Competencies: Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, sound judgment, strong written/verbal communication, and ability to thrive under limited supervision.
