Role Summary
Alter Domus is looking for a seasoned Senior IAM Engineer to join our global Cybersecurity and Identity team in Hyderabad in a hybrid model. In this key engineering role, you will architect, implement, and configure enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using SailPoint IdentityNow (IDN) and Identity Security Cloud (ISC). You will lead identity lifecycle management (Joiner-Mover-Leaver), build automated provisioning workflows, integrate hybrid HR and Active Directory ecosystems, and establish robust Segregation of Duties (SoD) and access governance controls across our international financial services operations.
Key Responsibilities
- SailPoint Solution Engineering: Design, configure, and maintain SailPoint IDN, ISC, and IdentityIQ architectures, defining role models, identity profiles, entitlement catalogs, and automated provisioning policies.
- Lifecycle & JML Automation: Architect and optimize end-to-end Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) workflows, lifecycle state triggers, correlation logic, and transformation rules to automate identity synchronization.
- Enterprise System Integrations: Build and maintain secure API and direct connectors integrating SailPoint with enterprise HR platforms (e.g., Workday), Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and cloud applications.
- Governance & Access Certification: Configure multi-tiered access certification campaigns, enforce Segregation of Duties (SoD) compliance rules, and manage audit-ready identity governance frameworks.
- Technical Mentorship & Support: Provide architectural governance, author standard operating procedures and technical designs, resolve complex L3 identity issues, and guide application teams through onboarding processes.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 8+ years of total IT experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to configuring, engineering, and deploying SailPoint IAM solutions.
- Core Stack: Advanced hands-on proficiency in SailPoint IdentityNow (IDN) / Identity Security Cloud (ISC), SailPoint IdentityIQ, Active Directory, REST API integrations, and RBAC design.
- Nice to Have: SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Professional/Engineer certification, scripting experience (PowerShell/Python), and familiarity with financial sector security frameworks.
- Professional Competencies: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, autonomous technical leadership, and clear communication across international engineering squads.
