Role Summary
Akamai Technologies is looking for an analytical, results-oriented Services Analyst to join our Global Delivery Excellence team. In this full-time remote role (with corporate presence at the Augusta Building in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India under Akamai's FlexBase program), you will support a global organization of over 2,500 professionals across Professional Services, Customer Support, and Account Management. You will own the end-to-end design and delivery of business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions, build financial models, manage forecasting and budgets, and evaluate operational data to identify trends, mitigate business risks, and enhance service efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain predictive business models, financial forecasts, and cost/budget structures using Anaplan, Tableau, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Performance & Variance Reporting: Conduct monthly variance analyses, identify operational trends, and deliver actionable insights on financial and organizational performance.
- Dashboard & BI Implementation: Design, develop, and deploy intuitive, custom dashboards and automated reports tailored to business stakeholder workflows and use cases.
- Requirements Gathering: Lead collaborative discovery sessions across cross-functional teams to translate operational challenges into concrete analytical requirements.
- Risk Analysis & Mitigation: Evaluate complex operational datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential business risks, delivering data-backed recommendations to leadership.
- Compensation & Budget Operations: Assist in managing departmental costs, headcounts, budgets, and operational compensation planning initiatives.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, financial modeling, or business intelligence reporting.
- Core Technical Proficiencies: Hands-on development experience with BI and planning platforms such as Tableau and Anaplan, paired with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical Depth: Proven ability to execute backend data analysis, trend identification, and variance analysis on large datasets.
- Governance & Discretion: Demonstrated track record of handling highly confidential organizational, compensation, and financial data securely.
- Professional Competencies: Strong interpersonal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to manage ambiguity and work cross-functionally across global time zones.
