Role Summary
Airbus India Private Limited is hiring a System Engineer-3 (Maintenance Systems) for its Advanced Engineering & System Studies division in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Working within the Research & Technology (R&T) ecosystem, you will design future aircraft health and maintenance systems, develop Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) architectures, build functional prototypes, and engineer solutions for Central Maintenance Systems and Flight Warning Systems using SysML, Cameo, and simulation tooling.
Key Responsibilities
- MBSE System Architecture: Design and deploy Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) architectures, diagrams, and SysML data structures using Cameo Systems Modeler.
- R&T Prototyping & Simulation: Develop functional demonstrators, simulation models (Matlab/Simulink/Dymola), and scripts (Python, Java) to solve complex aircraft health problem statements.
- Requirements & V&V Engineering: Elicit, derive, and manage technical requirements from customers and suppliers while executing Verification & Validation (V&V) procedures.
- Avionics & Maintenance Integration: Analyze legacy and next-generation avionics systems (Central Maintenance Systems, Flight Warning Systems) and leverage Big Data analytics via Airbus Skywise.
- Transnational Agile Collaboration: Work within global SAFe/Agile teams to conduct impact studies, perform trade-offs, and network across international engineering plateaus.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's (BE/B.Tech) or Master's (ME/M.Tech) degree in Aerospace, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional Experience: 4 to 5+ years of systems engineering experience within the aerospace or high-reliability defense sector.
- Systems Engineering & MBSE: Hands-on proficiency in SysML modeling (Cameo), requirements management, V&V techniques, and Enterprise Architecture Frameworks.
- Simulation & Scripting: Practical skills in at least one simulation tool (Matlab, Simulink) or programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Nice to Have: INCOSE CSEP certification, familiarity with the MOFLT framework, Airbus Skywise platform experience, or SAFe Agilist training.
