Role Summary
Airbus India Private Limited is hiring an Engineer – System Integration Tests for its engineering center in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this technical role, you will take ownership of verifying and validating flight control sub-systems and avionics across sub-system, system, and aircraft levels. You will utilize ground-based test rigs, execute virtual testing frameworks, review flight data, and establish advanced verification strategies to ensure flight safety, system reliability, and seamless aircraft performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Ownership & V&V: Take end-to-end responsibility for flight control sub-systems, ensuring system architecture and technical requirements meet strict fidelity standards.
- Test Strategy & Execution: Define system integration test strategies, write test procedures, execute test scenarios on ground rigs, and manage defect classification.
- Flight Test Analysis & Documentation: Perform real-time data analysis for flight tests, author Flight Test Analysis Reports, and validate critical engineering documents (SDD, SID, ICD).
- Test Automation & Innovation: Implement automated testing techniques, virtual test environments, and Big Data analytics to streamline verification processes and enhance test coverage.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, conduct peer reviews of test plans, and solve complex system-level anomalies.
Key Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech or M.Tech degree in Electronics, Avionics, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent aeronautical discipline.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of dedicated experience in Avionics systems V&V, system integration, or avionics software/hardware development.
- Domain Expertise: In-depth technical mastery of Avionics Systems Engineering, Flight Controls, Flight Management Systems (FMS), Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), and Indicating & Recording systems.
- Tools & Simulation: Hands-on proficiency with MATLAB, virtual test benches, and engineering model simulation environments.
- Nice to Have: Experience in automated test script generation, big data analytics for flight test logs, and transnational technical leadership.
