Role Summary
AiPrise is hiring a senior Software Engineer III for its core platform engineering team in Bengaluru. In this high-impact, end-to-end technical leadership role, you will architect, build, and scale AiPrise's compliance orchestration, vendor integration, and AI agent systems. You will lead technical decision-making for major platform initiatives, design distributed microservices, optimize high-throughput compliance data pipelines, and mentor engineers across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Senior Technical Leadership: Drive architectural decisions and own key platform components from design and code development to deployment and production monitoring.
- Distributed Systems & Microservices: Architect and scale robust RESTful APIs and microservices orchestrating 80+ compliance vendor APIs (identity verification, sanctions, AML screening).
- Data Pipelines & Compliance Workflows: Create high-throughput data ingestion pipelines and complex business logic for KYB/AML case management products.
- Engineering Culture & Mentorship: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, drive code reviews, shape engineering workflows, and resolve production incidents end-to-end.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 4 to 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building, shipping, and architecting complex production systems.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Mastery in backend programming (Python, Go, Java, or Node.js), distributed systems, REST APIs, relational database modeling (PostgreSQL/MySQL), cloud platforms (AWS), Docker, and CI/CD.
- Preferred Exposure: Domain experience in FinTech/RegTech, message queues (Kafka, SQS), NoSQL/Elasticsearch, frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript), and Infrastructure as Code (Kubernetes, Terraform).
- Core Competencies: Senior-level ownership, system design expertise, strong cross-functional communication, and mentorship capabilities.
