Role Summary

Adobe is hiring a Member of Technical Staff for its Digital Video Audio (DVA) group in Bengaluru. In this role, you will build and scale backend infrastructure, cloud services, and end-to-end client integration features for Video Cloud—powering industry-standard creative applications such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Premiere Rush. You will design, develop, test, and optimize full-stack software components, ensuring 24x7 high availability, reliability, and low latency across global cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Backend Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices, infrastructure, and APIs for Video Cloud using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
  • Client-Cloud Integration: Build robust client-side integration features and reusable shared components connecting desktop/mobile video editing applications with cloud backend systems.
  • Performance & Reliability: Monitor, profile, and optimize high-traffic, distributed 24x7 systems with minimal downtime, automated failover, load balancing, and failure detection.
  • Testing & Quality Automation: Author automated unit and integration tests for continuous verification, troubleshoot defects across frontend and backend layers, and participate in Agile development sprints.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience across client-server architectures.
  • Mandatory Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Java, core data structures, algorithms, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Docker, RESTful APIs, and public cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
  • Preferred Technical Exposure: Hands-on experience with C++, automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and high-throughput multimedia/video cloud processing.
  • Core Soft Skills: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, proactive problem-solving, rapid adaptability to changing technical priorities, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
