Role Summary
Accenture is seeking an experienced Web Developer / Packaged Application Development Team Lead to join our enterprise solutions practice at our BDC6F - SEZ facility in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. In this full-time role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading the design, construction, and end-to-end testing of scalable web applications using Spring Boot and modern Java frameworks. You will drive key technical architectural decisions, design RESTful APIs, document technical specifications, optimize application performance, and mentor engineering teams across multi-functional delivery streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Architecture & Development: Design, develop, and test robust, scalable web-based applications and site components utilizing Spring Boot and Java frameworks.
- API Design & Integration: Architect, implement, and secure RESTful web services and integrate database systems with enterprise web applications.
- Technical Leadership & Decision Making: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), taking ownership of technical decisions, problem-solving across teams, and streamlining development workflows.
- Technical Documentation: Author and maintain comprehensive technical designs, architectural blueprints, and interface specifications.
- Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot system bottlenecks, refactor code, and optimize runtime performance to guarantee high availability and responsiveness.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and drive engineering best practices across the delivery squad.
Key Qualifications
- Education: 15 years of full-time education (Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline).
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of professional software engineering and web application development experience, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to Spring Boot.
- Core Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Spring Boot, Java application frameworks, RESTful API development, database management and integration, and front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Key Competencies: Application performance optimization, debugging and troubleshooting complex web environments, technical documentation authoring, and team leadership.
