Custom Software Engineer (Software Product & Platform Engineering Analyst)

Role Summary

Accenture is hiring a Custom Software Engineer (Software Product & Platform Engineering Analyst) for its technology team in Hyderabad, Telangana. In this engineering role, you will design, develop, and enhance custom enterprise applications using Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE). You will collaborate within agile product teams to translate business requirements into scalable, performant software solutions using modern frameworks like Spring and Hibernate, Git version control, and cloud-aligned microservices architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Application Development: Design, write, and enhance custom backend components and systems using Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE).
• Framework Integration: Implement object-relational mapping and microservices architectures using Spring Framework and Hibernate.
• Technical Governance & Delivery: Contribute to technical decision-making, architecture reviews, and application problem-solving across cross-functional teams.
• Code Management & Versioning: Utilize Git for version control and manage code deployments across modern cloud environments.
• Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate technical knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior team members to support engineering capability growth.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on custom software engineering experience in Java Enterprise Edition development.
• Mandatory Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE).
• Preferred Technical Exposure: Spring Framework, Hibernate, Microservices Architecture, Git version control, and cloud deployment pipelines.
