Role Summary
Accenture is hiring a Custom Software Engineer (Software Product & Platform Engineering Associate Manager) in Hyderabad, Telangana. In this senior technical engineering role within a Trusted Tax Technology product group, you will lead front-end architecture initiatives, driving the delivery of accessible, high-performing, micro-frontend-based UI applications. You will build resilient React.js and TypeScript components, implement end-to-end testing with frameworks like Cypress, integrate REST APIs, and streamline CI/CD release processes via GitHub Actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Front-End & Micro-Frontend Engineering: Translate product requirements, UX designs, and technical designs into performant, modular React.js UI components and micro-frontends.
- Code Quality & Testing: Write clean TypeScript code and own application quality by authoring unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like Cypress.
- Accessibility & UI Standards: Ensure all web interfaces strictly comply with WCAG accessibility standards, responsive design practices, and core UI performance criteria.
- API Integration & CI/CD Pipelines: Connect UI layers to backend microservices via RESTful APIs and integrate automated workflows into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Agile Leadership & Technical Reviews: Lead technical peer code reviews, mentor engineering peers, troubleshoot complex UI defects, and partner with Product Managers and UX Designers in Scrum ceremonies.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Minimum 15 years of full-time education (B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical degree).
- Experience: 7.5+ years of hands-on application engineering experience (8+ years in web/application development preferred).
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Mastery of React.js, modern React state management, and hooks.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Cypress E2E testing, GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows, REST APIs, and WCAG accessibility implementations.
