Role Summary

Accenture is hiring a Custom Software Engineer (Advanced Application Engineering Team Lead/Consultant) in Hyderabad, Telangana. In this technical automation lead role, you will architect and deliver scalable enterprise automation and software solutions using Advanced Python. You will define engineering roadmaps, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps/GitOps CI/CD pipelines, multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), and integrate cutting-edge GenAI and Agentic AI frameworks to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automation Architecture & Solutioning: Design, architect, and implement high-performing, scalable automation solutions and custom Python applications.
  • DevOps & Multi-Cloud Delivery: Drive IaC, GitOps, CI/CD automation, and Linux infrastructure operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
  • AI & SRE Practices: Leverage GenAI and Agentic AI frameworks alongside modern observability tools to embed Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Engineering Standards & Governance: Establish technical roadmaps, coding best practices, and automation standards across application engineering teams.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Guide junior engineers, conduct technical reviews, and collaborate with key stakeholders to align technical capabilities with business goals.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum 15 years of full-time education (B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc / M.C.A. / M.Tech).
  • Experience: 5–10 years of professional software development and automation experience.
  • Mandatory Technical Stack: Expert-level proficiency in Advanced Python programming.
  • Preferred Technical Exposure: Linux, DevOps, GitOps, IaC, Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), GenAI / Agentic AI frameworks, and Observability/SRE tooling.
