Custom Software Engineer (Advanced Application Engineering Analyst)

Role Summary

Accenture is hiring a Custom Software Engineer for its Advanced Application Engineering group in Hyderabad. In this role, you will design, code, and implement custom software and automation solutions for applications, infrastructure, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) operations. Using Python and modern frameworks within Agile workflows, you will automate application/infrastructure provisioning, integrate monitoring and observability workflows, and troubleshoot automation pipeline issues across cloud and on-premise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Solution Development: Build custom automations for provisioning, configuration, and day-to-day operations of applications and infrastructure.
• Monitoring & Observability: Integrate monitoring tools and observability workflows to ensure system performance, reliability, and automated alerts.
• Issue Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot automation and scripting issues across cloud and on-premises tools.
• Cross-Functional Value Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performing custom software solutions tailored to business needs.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Minimum 15 years of full-time education required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years (up to 5 years) of hands-on software development experience with Python.
• Mandatory Technical Stack: Strong expertise in Python (Programming Language), Git, APIs, and automation scripting.
• Preferred / Good to Have Skills: Exposure to Linux, Cloud platforms, On-Prem tools, Monitoring/Observability tools, and foundational concepts in Generative AI / Agentic AI.
• Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving skills and learning agility across diverse cloud and infrastructure tools.
