Role Summary
Accenture is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer (Database Administration Analyst) to join our cloud and platform engineering group in Hyderabad. In this role, you will design, automate, test, and deploy resilient cloud platform environments that integrate public cloud services with hybrid infrastructure. You will leverage Python-based automation to streamline infrastructure provisioning, develop proof-of-architecture prototypes to test platform scalability and security, and monitor mission-critical systems for peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering: Design, build, and deploy automated cloud application infrastructure that unifies public cloud and on-premise environments.
- Python Automation: Develop robust Python scripts and automated toolchains to optimize provisioning workflows, resource lifecycle management, and operational tasks.
- Architecture Prototyping: Create and evaluate proof-of-architecture models to test performance thresholds, workload viability, and cloud security controls prior to production rollout.
- Monitoring & Performance Tuning: Track platform metrics, troubleshoot complex integration issues across virtualized compute and storage, and drive continuous optimization.
- Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration: Document architectural standards, runbooks, and deployment processes, while guiding associate engineers on cloud platform engineering principles.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Minimum 15 years of full-time education (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field).
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, platform automation, or systems engineering.
- Core Stack: Strong hands-on proficiency in Python programming, cloud architecture fundamentals, Linux operating systems, and scripting for infrastructure automation.
- Nice to Have: Hands-on exposure to major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Professional Competencies: Strong analytical debugging skills, proactive problem resolution under operational deadlines, and clear technical communication.
