Application Support Engineer - Kubernetes / Cloud Support

Role Summary

Accenture is hiring an Application Support Engineer (Application/Cloud Support Senior Analyst) for its technology team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this critical cloud application support role, you will act as a software detective—monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving incidents across distributed microservices architectures and enterprise applications. You will manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes, analyze logs and telemetry metrics, automate support workflows, and ensure the operational stability of client-critical cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Kubernetes & Container Operations: Deploy, scale, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized applications and microservices running in Kubernetes cloud environments.
• Incident Investigation & Resolution: Analyze system logs, performance metrics, and distributed traces to diagnose root causes of complex application failures in production.
• Automation & Process Improvement: Develop operational scripts and automated routines to streamline recurring support tasks and minimize system downtime.
• Knowledge Sharing & Leadership: Document troubleshooting steps and resolution workflows for the internal knowledge base, while mentoring junior support analysts.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Minimum 15 years of full-time education (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes and cloud application support (Overall experience 2 to 5 years).
• Mandatory Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Kubernetes container orchestration, microservices troubleshooting, log/metric analysis, and distributed application management.
• Preferred Capabilities: CKA/CKAD certification, scripting using Bash/Python, monitoring platforms (Prometheus/Grafana), and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud ecosystems.
