Role Summary
3i Infotech Limited is hiring a Senior Engineer - Network (Network Engineer L3) for its Infrastructure Services team. In this role, you will design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across routers, switches, FortiGate, and Juniper firewalls. You will handle L2/L3 network incidents, perform root cause analysis, lead network upgrades/migrations, and maintain network documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Administration & Support: Design, manage, and support enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Troubleshooting & RCA: Handle complex L2/L3 network issues, conduct root cause analysis, and provide support during critical downtime activities.
- Firewall & Security Management: Configure and manage FortiGate and Juniper firewalls, applying network security best practices.
- Network Performance & Upgrades: Monitor network health, perform daily checks, and execute migrations and network changes per company policies.
- Documentation & Coordination: Maintain network topology diagrams, configurations, SCDs, and SOPs while coordinating with internal and external teams.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree (B.Tech in IT or Computer Science preferred).
- Experience: 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in enterprise network management as an L3 Network Engineer.
- Core Technical Stack: Expertise in Routers, Switches, FortiGate Firewalls, Juniper Firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, VLAN, and BGP protocols.
- Certifications & Desirables: CCNP or JNCIP certifications; hands-on exposure to Load Balancers, WAF, or data center networks is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, time-management, and teamwork skills.
