Role Overview:

As an Associate Software Engineer, you’ll join o9’s dynamic team building Revenue Growth Management solutions for the CPG and Retail industries. You’ll work hands-on with advanced software technologies, data modeling, and analytics, contributing to the development of enterprise-scale planning solutions. You’ll engage with cross-functional teams, participate in solution design, and deliver impactful business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the product team to deliver/manage Revenue Growth Management solutions for CPG and Retail industries.
• Create business models and blueprints using principles of planning, optimization, collaboration, and visibility.
• Participate in requirements and design discussions with consulting, pre-sales, and customers.
• Design, develop, and document industry-specific use cases on the o9 platform.
• Understand and work with the o9 platform’s data model for designing planning use cases.
• Analyze data to derive business insights and recommendations using descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
• Create and execute test plans, document issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Work from the Bangalore office for 4 days a week initially (reduced to 3 days after 4 years of experience).

Key Technical Skills:

SQL Server, MySQL, Delta Lake, C#, JavaScript, Java, Python, R, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience with enterprise software, preferably in Revenue Growth Management within CPG or Retail industries.
• Experience and/or knowledge of databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and modern storage solutions like Delta Lake.
• Hands-on experience in one of the following languages is a plus: C#, JavaScript, Java, or scripting/analytics languages like Python or R.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to take ownership of end-to-end design and delivery of solutions is a plus.
• Experience implementing SCM planning or Revenue Growth Management applications is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputed or tier-1 college. Slight preference given to Computer Science or Electronics Engineering backgrounds.
