About the Role:

A growing IT infrastructure team in Ahmedabad is hiring a System Admin with 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience. This role is focused on the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of Linux-based systems, specifically RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux). The ideal candidate should also have practical exposure to JBoss application servers and Oracle databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) operating systems in a hands-on capacity
• Execute and troubleshoot a wide range of Linux/Unix commands
• Operate and manage JBoss Application Server environments
• Work alongside Oracle Database Server for operational support
• Apply system patches and resolve reported security vulnerabilities
• Use strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address issues efficiently
• Communicate clearly within teams and with stakeholders as needed

Key Technical Skills:

AIX System Administration, Linux

Requirements:

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in a relevant discipline

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with RHEL OS
• Strong command-line and scripting skills in Linux/Unix
• Practical knowledge of JBoss and Oracle server administration
• Experience with patch management and fixing vulnerabilities
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
